Direa Tablets for Pets

Direa tablets help manage diarrhoea in dogs and cats by absorbing toxins and excess water in the gut. This forms a protective gel that helps reduce diarrhoea and ease digestive discomfort.

The active ingredient, crospovidone, stays within the gut rather than being absorbed through the gut wall. It works without altering gut motility.

Size: Packs of 10 or 50 tablets.

Active ingredient: Crospovidone 1000 mg per tablet.

Directions: For dogs, give 1 tablet per 10–20 kg of body weight twice daily. For cats, give ¼ tablet per 2.5–5 kg of body weight twice daily. Administer for 2–4 days or until symptoms improve, following the pack directions or your veterinarian’s advice. Give directly or mix with food, and ensure your pet has access to plenty of fluids.

Safety: Consult a veterinarian if your pet has signs of illness other than diarrhoea, including blood-stained stools, or if diarrhoea persists after 3 days of treatment. Maintain adequate fluid intake during recovery.
